Our mandate ‘On Earth as it is in Heaven’ is to cultivate a kingdom culture, where the beliefs, values and behaviours of Heaven become characteristic of a community of people that bring transformation to their cities.

Bill and Connie Bennot began full-time Christian ministry in 1981. They pioneered and led campus churches in California, Arizona and New Mexico in the US. In 1982 Bill began travelling into various African countries. Then in 1987 Bill and Connie moved to Johannesburg where they established His People Christian Church which became an apostolic base for church planting in Africa. Over the next 18 years Bill and Connie worked with leaders and teams to plant churches and campus ministries in every major city in South Africa.  Bill also served leaders and churches in 12 African nations. In 2005 Bill and Connie established a second base in the U.S. while simultaneously moving their African base to Cape Town, South Africa. Over the next 5 years they served multiple churches and leaders in Africa and the United States; their focus being revival, reformation and cultural transformation.

Bill and Connie are pioneers of a leadership alliance called BMosaic, a gathering of Jesus-centered, relationally-connected and kingdom-minded leaders who are partnering together for the purpose of bringing the glory of His kingdom everywhere. In 2012 what began as a small gathering of passionate believers grew into the adventure which has become Journey of Grace. Going forward Bill and Connie aim to spend 6 months of every calendar year at Journey and 6 months in the US. Bill’s apostolic ministry and Connie’s prophetic ministry team together with a diversity of leaders throughout the body of Christ to release heaven on earth. They have three sons, Ben, Adam, and Ethan, and one daughter, Melody. Bill has a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership.
